NexusPilot began at the intersection of academic rigor and market reality. After years of PhD research at Politecnico Di Milano developing a uniquely robust vehicle teleoperation technology, Jai Prakash teamed up with mobility veteran Matteo Gandolfi.
Together, they analyzed multiple industries, discarding public road applications due to regulatory risks and mining due to market saturation. They identified logistics yards as the perfect beachhead market: a massive, underserved industry crippled by labor shortages and inefficiency, operating in a controlled environment where technology could provide an immediate and substantial ROI.
